Depending on how you use MonteurVind, we may process:

• Account data, such as name, email address, account type, login status, and verification status.
• Driver profile data, such as city, vehicle preferences, favorites, appointment requests, and contact details submitted with a request.
• Garage data, such as business name, address, opening hours, services, brands, photos, team details, contact data, plan status, and payment settings.
• Appointment data, such as requested services, quotes, schedule details, work-order updates, customer approvals, notes, payment status, and appointment history.
• Payment data, such as payment method, amount, currency, provider payment ID, payment status, and provider metadata. We do not store card numbers or online banking credentials.
• Support and contact data, such as messages sent through our forms, email address, phone number, and follow-up history.
• Technical data, such as IP address, device, browser, language, pages visited, session data, security logs, and basic analytics information.

3. Why we use data

We use personal data to:

• Operate accounts, login, verification, and security.
• Show garage profiles and help users find relevant garages.
• Create, manage, and display appointment requests, quotes, work-order updates, approvals, and appointment history.
• Process or support online payments through payment providers such as Mollie.
• Provide customer support and respond to legal, privacy, or payment questions.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, spam, misuse, and security incidents.
• Improve the platform, user experience, reliability, and local launch operations.
• Comply with legal, accounting, tax, payment-provider, and record-keeping obligations.

4. Legal bases

We process data where it is necessary to perform an agreement, take steps before an agreement, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business and platform interests, prevent misuse, or where you have given consent, for example for optional analytics cookies.

6. Payments

Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Mollie. The payment provider may process payment method details, bank information, fraud checks, transaction status, refunds, chargebacks, and payout information according to its own policies. MonteurVind stores payment references and status information so the appointment or plan can be updated correctly.

7. Sharing data

We only share data where needed to operate MonteurVind, process payments, provide support, comply with law, or protect the platform. Relevant recipients can include garages involved in an appointment, payment providers, hosting providers, database providers, email providers, analytics providers, professional advisers, authorities where required, and service providers that help us run the platform.

We do not sell user or garage personal data to third parties for advertising.

8. Public garage profiles and reviews

Garage profile information is intended to be visible to visitors and users. Reviews, ratings, photos, service descriptions, city, address, and contact information may be displayed publicly where enabled. Do not submit information you are not allowed to publish.

9. Retention

We keep data as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including account operation, appointment history, support, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, legal, payment, and dispute handling. When data is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or restrict access where appropriate.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect misuse of your account or a security issue, contact us immediately at support@monteurvind.nl.

11. Your privacy rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection where applicable. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a privacy request, contact support@monteurvind.nl. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

MonteurVind is not intended for children. If you believe a child has submitted data without proper permission, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
